Kirk o' Còlan "Battle Abbey" in Suncrest, WA

5860 Liberty Way, Nine Mile Falls WA

From I-90: take the Maple Street Bridge exit. If coming from the west, take a left at the light (or if coming from the east, take a right onto Walnut) and proceed north across the Maple Street Bridge.

Drive approximately 5 miles to Francis Ave. (this area is known as "5-Mile")

Take a left (west) onto Francis and drive approx 2-3 miles. Follow Francis as it goes down a hill, curves to the right (north) and down another hill (toward Riverside State Park). Here Francis becomes HWY 291.

At the 9 mile marker, you have just left the small town of Nine Mile Falls and are driving along the river and can see the small 9 mile dam...the beginning of Long Lake. Another mile or so and you will be in Stevens County.

At the 12 mile marker you will be leaving the lake and heading up "Big Sandy" hill...at the top to your left is Lakeside High School you then will be entering the Suncrest residential area.

At the 13 mile marker to the right there is a small shoping mall, gas station and fire station.

At about the 15 mile marker there is the Jr. High to the left and past that the Lakeside Library in the large blue metal building turn right.

Next is Jergens road just before the 16 mile marker...turn right and go 3/10 of a mile to Liberty way. Turn left and pass under the log arch and go 1/10 mile to "3crow/Battle Abby".

The address is on a wooden plaque by the driveway. Abbot Cryspin’s banner should be by the driveway (red & green with 3 crows in a yellow circle) and possibly the barony banner (rearing white stag on green).

Parking areas may be marked.

From North I-395: Drive past Deer Park WA toward Spokane.
Turn right on Staley Rd (called Dennison-Chatteroy Rd on the left side), drive past the stop sign at Monroe Rd (aprox. 2 miles) and drive another 3? miles to the next stop sign at Swenson Rd.

Turn left and follow for aprox 4? miles, through the hills (like a small pass). Watch for deer and turkeys crossing the road in this area. The road will eventually curve to the right and meet with Hwy 291.

Turn right and follow the remaining directions listed above after you past mile marker 13.

Home of Abbot Cryspin Mac Morrigu. Hilly pine forest area with earth home, archery range, fire pit and many tent locations.

Two dogs live on the property, so keep in mind before bringing pets as they may have to be restrained.
