Late Period French Privateer.

I was born to a noble family in Normandie France around the turn of the 16th century. However, I was orphaned when I survived the Black Death and they did not. I joined the military and fought several doomed wars for France before finally becoming a privateer. I fought in many wars for many different people for whatever price I could get. Eventually I was able to organize a group of fighters into a crew of mercenaries. I lead a very unchivalrous and blood thirsty life before finally settling down and accepting the responsibilities of Duke of a small Duchy in Spain.
