CROWN WAR

Autocrats: Jarl Doom Solig. Abbot Cryspin, Dame Seraphine

Since this is an uncontested Crown War the old people have declared it a FUN WAR!

Entrance to the event is a historical fact Jarl Doom will let you know when you shall say that fact. YOU WILL ALSO NEED A SQUIRT GUN. (Of course you don't have to partake if you don't wish)

Site Fee will be $2.00 per person with tent space $1.00 children under 12 free.

You will draw a chip from the bag and it will determine what side you will fight on. Each Scenario you will re-draw a chip. No one will know if you are a Loyalist or a Mustard Rebel comes with the draw.

Set up is Thursday or Friday morning or when you arrive at the Abbey.

Once you are set up if a range master is available you may practice or if you have a marshal available you may practice combat.

Armor Inspection will begin early Friday morning 9:30am please be aware of the rules before inspection and have your equipment in
good repair and ready.

Friday Schedule:

8:30 AM sign in if the Steward Jarl Doom and I arrive early enough on Thursday we could begin then. It should not take long so please sign in ASAP on Friday Morning.

9:00 Am Short opening Court

9:30 Archery Range Opens: As long as there is a qualified Range Master on the Range you may shoot your archery. (Archery will continue throughout the day so please do not worry you won’t get your archery shoot done)

9:30 Shinai Armor Inspection begins

10.00 Shinai Tournament

1:00 Lunch for those who wish

1:30 A&S tourney will begin. Please bring you’re A&S entry to the table set aside for this. If you wish to do an oral presentation please note this on the sheet when you sign up. If not then judges will be assigned to your entry and the judging will take place during the afternoon

6:30 Dinner Preparation begins for those who need time before dinner.
(There is a grill and burners at the Abbey also plugs if needed for electrical appliances. If you use the good abbots Kitchen please leave it clean. In order to keep our dishes washed up a Dishwashing station could be set up on the porch of the green house since the sink in the abbey does not have running water.)

Please Bring your Own dishes and Cook wear.

7:30PM dinner with their graces (Sat Night their graces will be having a couple special guests so that is when we will have our official feast) There is not a planned feast (anyone who wishes to take on this duty you are more than welcome too) What their graces would like however is for the populace to eat together. If groups want to get together and cook a meal together that is great. I am cooking for their graces.

After feast of course there is general merryment to be had. Singing, Drumming and Dancing.

Saturday

9am Armor Inspection for Steel and Rapier

9:30 Archery Range Opens ( will need a qualified Range Master)

10:00 Steel Tournament followed by Sgts Rapier and then Knights Rapier. There will also be a War Melee

11:30 Shinai Scenarios

2:00 Lunch for those who wish.

2:30 Class: Building a Longship with Jarl Doom

3:30 Class: Heraldry Class Abbot Cryspin

4:30 Autocrating with his Grace

5:30 (Open for other battles here)

6:30 Dinner Prep if anyone needs time.

7:30 Offical Feast with their graces. During dinner court will be held. Winners of any of the tourneys that are finished at that time will be announced. Please remember there is no feast planned if you wish to do so please contact the autocrats. Their graces would like everyone in the Duchy to have dinner together.

During feast there will be a Bardic Competition. Groups or Individuals may compete. There is a prize given out of course.

As usual lots of merriment
