An Irish rogue with 2 loves....mischief and fighting
Beloved of Isabella de Le Roux
Son of an Irish Nobleman (shhhh, it's a secret...) and half-brother of Rani Lily Douglas
Born in 1481 in the County of Kilkenny, growing up a modest farmer's son. Soon as he grew older he found a love for the military and joined up with a local Gallowglass group. After serving several years he was chosen by a local military chieftain to act as his aide and bodyguard. During this time Conri learned the subtle arts of "dispatching ones foe swiftly and quietly".
When an attempt to alleviate the power of a rival chieftain went a little too well, Conri fled Ireland for his life and settled in France for a time. Having no other choices but to become a farmer or take advantage of the wealthy and lighten their load, he chose the latter over the former. While in Paris on a much needed respite, he found a young girl starving in an alley way. Asking the child's name, he was quickly answered Sloan. Recognizing the strong Irish brogue of a fellow, he took the child to a nearby pub for a much needed bath and feeding. Not knowing where the child's parents were and making a rather hasty educated guest he welcomed her on his travels as well as possibly using her aid in finding his riches and gave her his surname.
At this time also during his stay in Paris, he had frequented a rather interesting courtesan named Isabella. Finding the woman intriguing to say the least, he quickly found himself falling madly in love with the woman. On a night after a fine meal and over finer wine, she told him a story of a place she had heard of in Spain, called Alhambra. From tells she had heard that it was a wonderous place of fellowship and learning, as well as having marvelous combatants that held prestigous tournaments on a reguluar basis. Since it sounded like a new start and a wonderful place to get that start, he packed up what money he had along with Sloan and welcomed Isabella to the road with them.
After many long nights on even longer roads, they reached the outskirts of Alhambra and were welcomed upon that road by one of her many knights. He introduced himself as a scotsman by the name of Sir Mikcos Douglas and welcomed them with open arms to this most delightful place.
