Spokane Highland Games (www.spokanehighlandgames.org) has requested us back to do the Shoot the English Knight demo. This is a demo where we sell 4 combat arrows (or javelins, if available) for $1.00. Then the public gets to loose the arrows at our combatants in armor.
Combat arrows, taunting knights and lots of fun for all.

Site fees (for the entire weekend): $8 per person, children aged 5 to 10 $5, children under 5 free. Includes camping. Day Trip site fee (for those not camping): $5 per person per day.
Children under 5 free. RV camping fee (in addition to Site fees): $12 per unit per day. No hookups.
This site has two "flushie" bathrooms, one with pay showers (bring your quarters). There are plenty of shade trees, and a swimming area.
There is also potable water available within our camping area. It is a "discreet" wet site. This means that we may drink as long as it is not
from the original container, and only in our camping area. No kegs allowed.
The Imperial Crown War events will be held on Saturday, August 30. Sunday will be an Imperial Tournament, and Workshops. We are required to phone in results to the Imperials within a certain time frame, so we will be running this event on a tight schedule.
For Arts & Science Entries: With how hard it can be to round up a plentiful supply of judges, and how much of prior events some of our judges have missed, we would like to ask that Artisans consider this when they plan their number of entries. We are not limiting your number of entries, just asking for your understanding towards those
who judge.
Sunday dinner will be a Pot-Planned Feast. Details for this feast have been posted by the Feastocrats, the Gloucester Crowns. Please respond to them no later than Thursday, August 28 if you plan to participate. They will make preparations for the number reserved only.
A War Kitchen is available. Please see Dame Arbella's postings for further information and how to participate.
There will be vending on Sunday. If you have items to sell or trade, this is an opportunity to help defray your travel expenses.
Please email either of us if you have questions.
