In Lieu of Combat and Bardic Practice, we will have a meeting of the Barony to discuss Misc business and upcoming plans for the Highland Games "Shoot the Knight" Demo.

Capitaine E'Xavier wanted to set up a Demo, but unfortunately will be out of town. Maybe we can plan for next year instead.

This is our monthly House meeting to delve into Gypsy culture and history. All are welcome who are interested in the subject.

Unfortunetly, the City of Colfax has cancelled this celebration this year. We are unsure at this time if it will return.

We have been asked to do a mini demo Friday morning for the news crew that is filming to advertise the Highland Games.

Spokane Highland Games (www.spokanehighlandgames.org) has requested us back to do the Shoot the English Knight demo. This is a demo where we sell 4 combat arrows (or javelins, if available) for $1.00. Then the public gets to loose the arrows at our combatants in armor.

Combat arrows, taunting knights and lots of fun for all.

We anticipate contacting many people at the Highland Games that are interested in learning more about the Adrian Empire. This gathering (during our normal Combat and Bardic Practice time) is to go over some of the basics of our organization and answer questions.

Coronation is to be a great celebration. A time to feast and make merry. To teach and to learn.

There will be no combat at this event as the focus is THE ARTS! There are to be many demonstrations, classes, and artisans plying their trade. There will be prize tournaments and gaming galore. There will be music and singing, so bring your instruments, drums, lyrics, etc for entertainment during the feast. There will be a formal court, a feast, and a mask ball.

Since the dark times arts have been all but shunned by many of us. It is time that an end was put to this once and for all. This event is meant to show that arts should be foremost in our minds.
